EMPOWERING STUDENTS THROUGH STUDENT-CENTERED & TRUSTED COLLEGE GUIDANCE
Dedicated Support and Advocacy for Students
- Dedicated and comprehensive support for you and your student. As a valued client, you'll have direct access to Yvonne Espinoza’s personal line with prompt, priority responses from 8am to 9pm, 7 days a week, throughout the duration of your contract.
- Decreased tension between students and parents through additional support by a professional and highly trained 3rd party to communicate with your student one-on-one about college, and separately with parents to keep them informed. Meetings with Yvonne will help your student to feel more confident in the process, and also allow parents to entrust their student to work independently with a professional expert.
- To encourage student ownership in the admissions process- something colleges both expect and value- all 50-minute, one-on-one college counseling sessions take place in a dedicated Zoom, providing a confidential and focused environment. Parents remain involved at the level they are comfortable with through open communication with Yvonne Espinoza outside of student meetings, ensuring they stay informed without disrupting their student's growing sense of responsibility.
- This exclusive virtual format offers unparalleled flexibility- students can schedule sessions as late as 8pm, ensuring they receive support when it is most needed and convenient. This format also creates more productivity through screen-sharing.
- Even students who found virtual learning difficult during COVID find 1:1 Zoom sessions to be comfortable and convenient for college counseling and the college application process.
- Decreased stress during this important journey with regular support outside of school. With Yvonne Espinoza, CEP, one of Austin's most experienced college consultants, your student gains empathetic guide who not only provides encouragement and friendly support, but also assists with time management counseling to make this process less overwhelming, and to help students work on executive functioning skills that they will need in college.
- Advocacy for your student- Yvonne Espinoza, CEP,'s services add an extra layer of advising and moral support at each stage. Through comprehensive support to supplement in-school services, her goal is to help each of her students to feel more organized and affirmed of their capabilities. The 50-minute appointments enable Yvonne Espinoza to be more sensitive to and aware of other events going on in her students' lives, so she can support her students by accommodating unexpected challenges accordingly.
No matter if a student has a 4.5 or a 2.5 GPA, ALL students and families deserve the expert support of a highly trained college admissions consultant who provides unwavering guidance throughout the process. Yvonne Espinoza, CEP,'s clientele prefer a college counseling experience that prioritizes highly individualized advising and personal attention. These services are in contrast to larger college consulting companies that may assign students to multiple people throughout the process, or have a blanket approach of pre-set deadlines and steps in place that apply to all clientele, no matter their unique set of circumstances and interests.
- For families and high-profile clients seeking discretion and confidentiality, Yvonne provides a college counseling experience with the highest levels of trust and professionalism that respect each family's required levels of privacy.
Parental Support
The families Yvonne Espinoza works with are productive, talented people already juggling a multitude of responsibilities and commitments in their lives. Adding the numerous (yet important) steps that accompany the college application process can feel like taking on another full-time job for parents and guardians. Even stay-at-home or retired parents contact Yvonne when realizing that the college planning journey is another full-time job, and entrusting it to an experienced and caring professional will make the process easier for both the student and parents, alike. Working with Yvonne ensures:
Yvonne is also available to parents throughout the course of the student's college journey to answer questions and provide guidance on a one-on-one basis. Providing services for parents without the student present allows parents to have all of their questions answered and concerns addressed outside of their relationship with their student, resulting in less pressure and anxiety for all involved. Working with a college counseling professional extensively trained to work with adolescents can help to alleviate the strain of college from the student-parent relationship and allow for the family to enjoy those last pre-college years more fully.

Access to Up-to-Date Information, Resources, and Guidance
Yvonne personally remembers receiving an envelope in the mail during the Fall of her senior year of high school that contained a floppy disk with her Boston University college application on it and being impressed with how "high tech" that seemed. Times certainly have changed since then!
Students and parents now have so much more access to college information than ever before, but it can be hard to know where to start or how to filter through the flood of college emails and websites that are out there. The college application process itself is very different now, as well, with various types of online applications (Common Application, Coalition Application, GoApplyTexas, University of California Application etc.), virtual admission counselor visits, interviews, and some deadlines as early as October 15th!
